Music plays a big part in the ambience and soul of a place – and our soundtrack is an eclectic one.

You’ll always (technology permitting!) find some tunes playing and we are hoping to change our licence to allow more live music in the future.

Come and join us for an “alternative Sunday lunch”!

We’re open 11.30-4.30 on a Sunday, but until 6.30ish the Sundays we have live music (which would normally be between the hours of 2ish til 5ish).

We are aiming to have live music every Sunday – currently under discussions with the neighbours!

OCTOBER LIVE MUSIC DATES:

SATURDAY EVE 8th oct 2011 – come strut your funky stuff to the fabulous Small Town Bullies…special Saturday night live music session!

SUNDAY DAY 9th oct 2011 – we’ll all be relaxing and nursing the hangovers with some live laid back jazz / funk / dub from the talented & gorgeous Jack Pescod and friends Trio

There’ll be a bit of jamming over the weekend no doubt, so bring your instruments if ya fancy it. Oh, and we’d heartily recommend our delicious Trinxat and / or Beghir (Moroccan pancakes) as a great hangover cure – you seen our New Menu page?

SUNDAY DAY 23rd oct 2011 – back again by popular demand, we will be entertained by the brilliant Robert Brown and his array of fascinating guitars …another great way to spend a Sunday lunchtime and afternoon.

THIS WEEKEND FOLKS – it’s party time!!!

Free entry so just book your table for some supper or join us for a drink or two… Fancy dress encouraged but not essential (ah go on, you know you want to!)

We’ll have the fab DJ Ben Osborne on the decks later in the evening and a prize for the best carved pumpkin* – so show us your gourds!! Get creative and bring it along with you on Saturday to win some fizz!

*(hey – why not make a warming tajine with their innards?!)
